Phatsimo which means"Shining”, is derived from the sparkle of Debswana's high quality diamonds. The diamonds contribute largely to the infrastructural and economic development of Botswana.

The Debswana Group Newspaper | Phatsimo is a publication which keeps you informed about Debswana, its activities and issues related to the diamond industry. The publication, which was previously issued bi-monthly as a magazine is now coming out fortnightly as a newspaper. This initiative is in response to the communication needs of Debswana employees as well as those of the company’s various strategic programs and projects.
