JWANENG: Botswana’s representative in the SABC 2 television’s reality show, Kabo Lekwalo, is expected to be at Jwaneng Mine today, Wednesday 7th February 2007. He will be filmed driving down the pit in a big earth moving truck.
The purpose of the stop over at Jwaneng Mine is to showcase the diamonds’ contribution to the economy of Botswana said Enel Viljoen, who is one of the organisers of the show.
Kabo, a Jwaneng Mine employee’s son, says he is very excited and proud to have made it to the top after beating 16 other contestants.
He will be joined in the show by Heidie Beukes from Namibia and Given Meula from South Africa who are also participating in the series.
The show is set to equip them with the necessary life skills to achieve their goals and have a better understanding of who they are, what they want to achieve in life and how their dreams can contribute to the enrichment of their respective countries.
