COMMONWEALTH PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION MEMBERS VISIT JWANENG

   

JWANENG: Head of Members of the British branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Dr Roger Berry of the ruling Labour Party says his organisation supports any activity that generates income for the economy of Botswana. Speaking at their recent visit to Jwaneng Mine, Dr Berry said that they were particularly impressed by various initiatives undertaken by Debswana to combat the HIV/AIDS scourge.

The delegation was on a seven-day visit to Botswana. They were accompanied by members of the Botswana branch of the CPA Messrs Pono Moatlhodi, Dumelang Saleshando and Ronald Ridge who also hailed the company for doing a great job in managing the country’s most priced resource.
