ORAPA: Xebere Raroki’s life was changed drastically at the weekend when he was presented with a house courtesy of Debswana, the Boteti youth and the Botswana Police.
“The amount of support and commitment that Debswana has for the development of surrounding communities and the nation at large is unwavering” he said.
Another speaker at the event, Debswana’s Steffen Nareetsile who is the Damtshaa Mine Manager confirmed the company’s dedication to develop Botswana further.
“Debswana sees corporate social investment as an integral part of Botswana’s wealth creation process. We believe that by investing in communities we not only enhance our image as a company but we maximise and enhance the quality of life for the people of this nation” he reiterated. The event was also graced by Member of Parliament for Boteti North Slumber Tsogwane who donated a bed to Raroki.
