GABORONE: Four University of Botswana students will participate in the coming World Debating Championship competition, courtesy of Debswana. Justice Motlhabani, Ame Zachariah, Pearl Mathumo and Kevin Dikatso will be in Vancouver, Canada from the 23rd December 2006 to 4th January 2007.
“With the assistance of the Debswana Corporate Social Investment (CSI) office, the students were able to raise just over 30% of the required amount of money for tickets, registration, accommodation and meals. We then assisted them with return air tickets,” revealed Kungo Lentswe, Debswana CSI Officer.
