GABORONE: Debswana’s Business Development Unit will run a series of workshops for current and potential suppliers in early December. According to the Unit’s Manager, Joe Ramotshabi Debswana has partnered with Botswana Bureau of Standards to train entrepreneurs on Integrated Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) and Quality Management System.
Joe further said that the workshops, which will take place in Gaborone, Jwaneng and Orapa will help sensitise, encourage and assist local companies to embrace and implement best practices that will enable them to successfully comply with the requirements of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management standards.
“The programme is designed to address key issues relating to the adherence and achievement of the required standards as well as to look into opportunities and facilities that can enable companies to implement and meet SHE and Quality Management requirements,” he explained.
