| Jwaneng Mine Assistant General Manager Albert Milton gave a presentation yesterday to the Southern District Council in Kanye on Debswana’s new Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme. Milton told the Council that the main objective of the programme is to form partnerships with the community in facilitating sustainable projects which will benefit and improve the lives of communities which lie within the catchment areas of the Mine. Councillors welcomed the initiative and requested a workshop on Debswana’s new CSI policy so that they are better equipped and sufficiently confident to sell the initiative to constituents.
