PALAPYE: Morupule Colliery has signed a contract with a South African company to construct a Wash Plant to produce washed coal.
DRA Plant Design and Control Engineers Project Manager, Jimmy Copeland recently led his team in Morupule to survey the expected location of the plant and finalise all logistics for the construction to commence. It is expected that come December 1st, 2006 the project will take off ground and completion expected in October next year.
Morupule Colliery’s sale of graded coal is expected to more than double once the washed coal sales commence.
