While participating in a panel discussion titled Building Capacity for the Accelerated Participation of Women in the Workplace, Debswana HR Manager Malebogo Moepi shone a light on one of the many ways in which Debswana continues to walk the talk. “In 2023, we set out to develop 100 women into Machine Operators. To date, 233 have been trained.” She further reiterated the importance of setting measurable targets when designing a diversity and inclusion framework, motivated by impact that will ultimately improve livelihoods.
