JWANENG MINE, JWANENG CYCLING CLUB DRIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS

-Invests over P350 000 in refurbishing science laboratories at Morama CJSS

Jwaneng Mine, through the Jwaneng Cycling Club,  has invested over P350 000 in refurbishing science laboratories at Morama CJSS through funds raised from the annual Jwaneng Charity Cycle race. 

The project is expected to enhance local education and includes donations of school uniforms. Emmanuel Boiteto from Jwaneng Mine said that the upgraded laboratories will improve science education as they now feature advanced facilities. Zipora Mapange, Chief Education Officer,  expeessed his gratitude and highlighted the necessity of improving science results by 2024 and urged the students to take care of the new facilities. This initiative will not only encourage students to pursue science and technology careers, but it also underscores Jwaneng Mine’s commitment to education and aligns well with Botswana’s Vision 2036 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
