It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ms Lebole , Head of Human Resources, who passed away on 11th August 2021. Lebole has been a valuable member of Group ExCo since her appointment as Head of Human Resources on 01 February 2018.
Lebole served Debswana with distinction. She had over 19 years of experience with Debswana, having served in various roles internally within Debswana and the De Beers Group of Companies. She has served as Human Resources Manager for Voorspoed Mine in South Africa and at De Beers Corporate Office, also in South Africa. Lebole had a wealth of experience in Human Resources strategy development and implementation, business partnering, union/management relationship building, talent management and leadership development.
She was recently appointed Chairperson of the Debswana Pension Fund (DPF) Board of Directors. Lebole was also a member of the Botswana Building Society (BBS) Board of Directors.
