The Cresta Jwaneng Open Golf Tournament got off to a great start this afternoon at the Jwaneng Golf Course, marked by an official tee-off ceremony. Among those taking the first swings were His Worship the Mayor of Jwaneng, Ronica Ntsimako, Jwaneng Mine Assistant General Manager Thabani Moyo, Cresta Marakanelo Managing Director Mokwena Morulane, Jwaneng Golf Club President Carol Ralebala, and Botswana Golf Union President Derrick Musa.
The tournament has drawn over 170 registered players and will run from June 6th to 8th, 2025. The official opening ceremony is set to take place later this evening at the Cresta Jwaneng Grande.
Debswnaa is also a sponsor at the event; whose continued support underscores its commitment to community development and sporting excellence.
Adding to the excitement, a music festival is scheduled for tomorrow, featuring performances by Han-C, Chokoma, Ancestral Rituals, and many more.
