In a continued effort to support education and uplift communities in the Boteti region, Bosch Rexroth, one of Debswana’s Business Partners, recently donated a heavy-duty printer, printing paper, and toners to Khwee Primary School. The donation is aimed at enhancing teaching delivery and improving access to learning materials.
Speaking at the handover, Bosch Rexroth Country Manager, Gondai Mhlanga, noted that this gesture marks the start of a broader initiative by Bosch Rexroth to contribute meaningfully to various areas of community development. He encouraged the school’s leadership to fully leverage the equipment, emphasizing its potential to strengthen the quality of education.
OLDM Senior Ore Processing Manager, Mr. Osefelepelo Mathe, also commended Bosch Rexroth for their generous contribution, noting that it aligns with Debswana’s purpose of “making life brilliant.” He urged the school’s management and students to take good care of the new equipment. For her part, Deputy School Head, Max Gaolape, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the donation, acknowledging its value in supporting both teachers and learners. He also encouraged learners to work hard and make the most of such support.
In addition to the printing equipment, students also received winter clothing, made possible through proceeds from the recently hosted Botswana Softball Masters Association (BOSMA) Tournament in Orapa.
This initiative highlights the shared commitment of OLDM and Bosch Rexroth to investing in the future through education and community support.
