The Jwaneng General Manager Mr. Goitseone Gadifele together with his EXCO team conducted a Visible Felt Leadership (VFL) session at the Jwaneng Underground Project and with the Engineering Mobile Plants teams over the past two days. As part of routine VFLs the leadership team dedicated time to engaging with employees and reviewing key aspects of the project.
𝐉𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭
Mine leadership interacted with staff to check on their well-being as work intensifies while also assessing overall project progress. The team visited the Bench 19 portal area, lamp room facility, refuge chamber and Declines 1 and 3.
They expressed satisfaction with the progress made noting that the project remains on track and within schedule. Following the underground visit the leadership team held a debrief session to provide feedback and highlight opportunities for further improvement.
Mr. Gadifele commended the project team for their hard work and dedication and expressed appreciation for the positive momentum demonstrated at this critical stage of the project.

The EXCO team also visited the Engineering Mobile Plants section to engage with teams working on the ongoing maintenance of two Bucyrus shovels critical equipment supporting load and haul operations.
During the visit leadership provided assurance regarding the safe execution of tasks and confirmed that the work is adequately planned and resourced to ensure timely completion.
The visit also emphasized employee well-being with particular focus on fatigue management and safety compliance both essential to ensuring that teams operate under optimal conditions to deliver safe, reliable and sustainable results.
