Orapa, Letlhakane & Damtshaa Mines General Manager Mr. Mogakolodi Maoketsa recently held an engagement session with Orapa Junior Secondary School Staff members to congratulate them on the school’s 2025 Junior Certificate Examination (JCE) results.
The session follows Orapa JSS’s outstanding performance, having secured position 1 nationwide with a 79.1% pass rate. This is an achievement the school has only surpassed once in the past decade. Speaking at the session, Orapa JSS Head Ms. Kolobetso Seabe expressed that the results are a testament to the hard-work and unity of all Orapa JSS staff members hinting that they aim for more and will do more so that they keep on improving on students’ performances and retain position 1 with a better pass rate.
Speaking at the session, OLDM General Manager, Mr. Mogakolodi Maoketsa placed emphasis on strengthening collaboration, enhancing learner support systems and maintaining high teaching standards, citing these factors as the key drivers of the school’s objectives going forward. Mr. Maoketsa expressed delight on the school’s performances and urged the staff members to keep working hard highlighting that such good performances can eventually lead to the school being a national benchmark provided the results become better and consistent.
