June 6 2025, marks a special day as we celebrate our Teachers and Educators. Taking place at the Debswana Club and under the theme “Investing in Teachers as Architects of a New Botswana,” we celebrate our gemstones for the tireless work and profound impact they have on our nation.
When giving his Word of Encouragement, The Deputy Mayor, Mr Mothibedi Victor Watshipi, appreciated the wisdom, dedication, and relentless efforts by Teachers in shaping young minds . He encouraged them to be selfless in their work and to continue to inspire, challenge, and help in nation-building.
The day continues to unfold with different presentations and discussions about transforming the education sector and reflections on the support needed by Teachers to fully deploy their talent and vocation.
