Apprenticeship students from the Debswana Corporate Centre (DCC) recently visited the Jwaneng Mine – famously known as the Prince of Mines.
The visit gave students a unique opportunity to learn about the diamond mining process, from exploration to extraction and processing. They got to see how Botswana’s diamonds go from deep in the earth to the global market. More than just technical knowledge, the tour helped students appreciate the important role mining plays in Botswana’s economy and heritage.
Debswana is proud to support and inspire the next generation through learning experiences like this, because the future of diamonds starts with the bright minds of today.
