Under the theme “Building Capacity to Respond, Recover and Lead Safely and Effectively,” Jwaneng Mine is today hosting its 2025 Interdepartmental First Aid Competitions.
This important initiative aims to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety across the mine, while educating both employees and the wider community about the critical role of first aid, emergency preparedness, and proactive risk management, especially in high-risk environments like mining.
Five teams are competing, each showcasing their knowledge, agility, and teamwork in handling emergency scenarios. As the competition unfolds, excitement builds to see which team will ultimately emerge victorious.
