Debswana Diamond Company has committed P16 million to sponsor the World Athletics Relays 2026, taking place in Gaborone from 2–3 May. The global event is expected to attract over 1,700 athletes and officials, thousands of visitors, and wide international media coverage. This partnership positions Debswana to showcase Botswana on the world stage while promoting the natural diamond story and its impact on communities and economic growth. CEO Andrew Motsomi highlighted the opportunity to strengthen global brand presence and national storytelling.
