Debswana Project Manager Themba Giddie has announced a major milestone under the Citizen Economic Empowerment Programme, with the successful local refurbishment of High-Pressure Grinding Rolls by a citizen-owned company the first of its kind in Botswana. Valued at BWP13 million, the project highlights growing local expertise in specialised mining services. Completed safely and injury-free, it met all compliance and risk standards.
